Check out this video for tips on maintaining an effective role as a non-controlling adult ally, making space for young people to lead and believing in their resilience and the importance of learning along the way.

Get your students started:

  • Quick-Start Activity: Check out this 1-hour activity to support your students to identify what problem they’re passionate about and to start thinking about what they want to do to solve the problem! This activity is a good starting point to help your students think about what issues exist and which ones they feel strongly about so they can begin to think about how they want to take action.  
  • Introduction to Changemaking: Use this resource to learn more about changemaking generally and how you can incorporate it into your teaching or program as a regular practice.
